This company has excellent customer service. When I called about a roof repair after a wind storm messed up some of my roof shingles and torn them up or off, they knew when they could do the work. They showed up as promised and did the repair. I had tried several other companies and those people never showed up. They never called to tell me they were not coming. I even tried hiring a guy who doing a neighbors house and he forgot. Tried & True Roofing did a repair a few years ago for me. He came and repaired the work from someone else I had hired and botched up a section. I am very happy with Tried & True Roofing. When the whole roof needs to be replace, I will absolutely call them back!

Really great guys, helped me when no one else would. They were actually the 5th company I called over about a 4 month period, but the only ones who showed up. The weather early this year was terrible so I understand that every roofer in the area was busy, but Phillip made time for me anyway. He even sent someone over after hours on a Friday evening to tarp my roof since the leak got worse and storms were expected over the weekend. I appreciated that so much and it was a huge relief to not have to worry about further damage. They came back the next week to repair the water damage under my shingles and then installed a new metal roof. The whole process only took about 2 weeks, and the actual work only took a few hours. The price was very reasonable and the new roof looks great. If I'd known how easy and inexpensive it would be to get a durable metal roof I would have done this years ago! We used to have to replace shingles and several feet of ridge cap at least once every year due to severe storms, but now I'm so relieved to not have to worry about storm damage to my roof anymore. Fired the first roofer, Bishop Roofing, who was horrible. Tried and True came out the day after I called them and gave me a very reasonable estimate which was 1/5 the cost of the Bishop estimate. Called Phil from Alaska and needed a roof on my cabin on wattage lake. I couldn't find anyone that would go out that far. Phil went out a few days after my call, looked at it, gave me an estimate and said it would be done in two weeks. Not only did this firm do a good job for me on one of my homes, but I felt very comfortable with them, they cleaned everything up afterward, were fair in their pricing and even fixed a rotten piece of wood they found under the old roof. Would 100% recommend them

Some shingles blew off the roof and I called them for a quick repair. They responded quickly, were very friendly and professional. Quickly made the repair for a very reasonable price. I requested a quote for replacing the entire roof and their price was very reasonable so they are coming back soon to do that work.

I had a recurring leak where my chimney met the pitch of my roof. I had a handyman patch and tar this area several times however...the leak kept coming back... I want to a roofing company and they cut out a small portion of the roof and replaced it... the leak came back... I then called Tried and True Roofing... Phillip came out and gave a free estimate. He explained it was an architectural flaw in the roof... He was able to return and fix the roof within a few days. I'm happy to say the roof hasn't leaked since! ????

I almost considered a "company" out of Elizabethton that wanted a great deal of money up front and very scetchy about a contract. This was not the case with Mr. Oliver. He was very professional, responded quickly, explained everything clearly, provided references and gladly provided a contract with warranty. Mr. Oliver's crew showed up on time and went right to work. I couldn't believe how fast they completed the job. I didn't time them, but I'd say they were done in about 3 hours, cleaned everything up nicely and ran a large magnet all around the house to pick up any stray screws, nails etc. I found 2 screws after they left...not bad. I was told by the gentlemen that delivered the metal that Mr. Oliver purchased more metal from their company than anyone else in the area. That says a lot. Bottom line...if you're looking for a quality roofer, competitive pricing and a roofer with one of the best work ethics iv'e seen in a long time, then give Tried and true a call.

I had a new roof put on.They were very professional. Cleaned up the mess and hauled it officially. I loved the work they done.I would highly recommend for any job.

These guys were amazing and did GREAT work! We had a hale storm come thru and damaged our roof and vinyl siding on our house and also on my mom's house next door. They came in one day and replaced everything on both houses and did an awesome job. Definitely will use them again when needed and will recommend to all we know!

Some shingles blew off the roof and I called them for a quick repair. They responded quickly, were very friendly and professional. Quickly made the repair for a very reasonable price. I requested a quote for replacing the entire roof and their price was very reasonable so they are coming back soon to do that work.

Phillip Oliver and his employees were completely professional, timely and friendly. They worked through some very cold weather to get my roof on to prevent my house from having further damage. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Phil @ Tried & True is very professional and easy to do business with. I shopped his price with several other contractors and he offered the most value for the money. His work was extremely well done, and he worked on an accurate schedule everyday finishing up about a 1/2 day earlier than expected. On top of this, his final prep and cleanup was second to none.
